In TESCO awards once again Girteka is listed as one of the most valued partners.
Since 2015, when Girteka Logistics earned the honourable TESCO Europe Primary Fresh haulier of the year 2015 award, the competition did not take place. Now, four years later, TESCO once again organised the awards, where Girteka Logistics was appraised again – and nominated for the TESCO haulier UK 2019 award. In this category, TESCO selected companies that provide international transportation services, namely those who deliver products from continental Europe to the United Kingdom.
A total of 9 of TESCO’S best transportation service providers were competing. Despite the fact, that in the TESCO haulier UK 2019 category, Girteka Logistics were the only non-local logistics providers delivering goods from Spain, they still ended up amongst the top five.
“We are extremely happy, that we had an opportunity to take part in the annual TESCO’S conference of the most important suppliers, amongst the regular participants such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Mondelez. This nomination is particularly important to us, as it shows that Girteka Logistics is one of the top players in the league and is more often noticed in the arena of the biggest corporations.
The nomination is proof, that our colleagues who work at the offices and the drivers, who spend their days behind the wheel, provide truly high quality and valuable service. I am certain, that in the future the number of such nominations will only increase and will turn into awards as well, which will allow us to increase our sales income significantly,” – said Justinas Žvirblis, the head of sales to Europe.
Since TESCO’S award in 2015 Girteka Logistics have cemented their position in international logistics services for TESCO as the main provider in Europe and gently began increasing its share amongst TESCO’S United Kingdom hauliers.
