Drivers are strictly prohibited from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You are not only responsible for yourself, but also for the safety of those around you. Do not risk drinking and driving!

Drunk driver:

  • has poorer orientation;
  • loses vigilance;
  • has longer reaction time.
In a study it was found that the response time (i.e. the time between noticing an obstruction and braking) of a driver who had no alcohol in the blood was 0.479 s, while it was 0.578 s for a driver with 0.25% of alcohol in his blood. This is 20% longer, and in times of emergency, this millisecond can often prove fatal with painful consequences.
  • By drink driving you risk the health and life of yourself and others;
  • By drink driving you risk losing your driving licence;
  • In the event of an accident when the driver is intoxicated, all material liability for the damage caused by the accident shall lie with the driver;
  • In the event of an accident with injured persons, when the accident is caused by a drunk driver, the driver is subject to criminal liability.
If you notice a drunk driver, talk to him immediately, don’t let him drive. If you can’t stop the person yourself, call and alert the police. Protect other traffic participants!
